Dr. David C.
Karlgaard, Director of Freedom Bank, Fairfax,
Virginia Dr.
Karlgaard was co-founder and CEO of PEC Solutions, a NASDAQ company.
Before the company merged into Nortel Networks in 2005, the
company's growth to become a leading government contractor in the IT
industry was accelerated by strategic acquisitions. Recognized as
2002 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Dr. Karlgaard holds
a doctorate and an MBA. He recently lectured on this topic at the
Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
Together with fellow government contractor luminaries Drs. Terry
Collins and Alvin Nashman, Dr. Karlgaard serves on the Board of
Directors of Freedom Bank.
