Freedom Bank Hires Timothy Klinkner as SVP and Reston Community Executive

Further Investment in Regional Business Model with New Community Executive

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Freedom Bank of Virginia (OTCQX: FDVA) announced today that it has hired Timothy Klinkner as Senior Vice President and Reston Community Executive. “We are very pleased to have Tim join our talented team of banking professionals. Tim’s experience and expertise will allow him to drive new lead relationships with businesses, real estate owners, and professionals in the Northern Virginia market and provide exceptional service to our existing clients in Reston and the surrounding communities,” said Joe Thomas, President and CEO.

Most recently, Mr. Klinkner was Vice President and Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank. In this role, his responsibilities included personnel and sales management, treasury services sales and implementation and business development to include deposits and loans. Prior to First Citizens, he spent nearly a decade with PNC in positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Klinkner has a Masters in Special & Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from West Virginia University.
